Marilyn Truitt-Johnson was the youngest daughter of Eddie & Harriett Truitt, who lived on Marshfield in Dixmoor. She attended Lincoln Elementary school...McKinley Junior High...and Thornton High School , where she graduated in 1971. Marilyn had a deep compassion for others, and worked with many high-level residents at the Howell Development Center in Tinley Park,Illinois for 20 years. Marilyn Truitt possessed a remarkable spirit & wonderful sense of humor - plus a deep compassion for others. Her spirit remains. Her legacy lives on.
