RALPH STOSIEK

November 22, 1953 - July 15, 2019

Ralph Stosiek, 65, passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on July 15th, 2019 at Halifax Medical Center in Port Orange FL.

Ralph was born on November 22, 1953 to Felix Stosiek and Elizabeth Stosiek (née Talaga) in Harvey IL.  He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic grade school and Thornton Township High School.  After finishing high school he enlisted in the U.S Army and received an honorable discharge for his service.   He was raised in a loving home and was close with his siblings -  sisters Connie Devine, Frankfort IL and Marybeth Kirwin (Steve) Tinley Park IL and brothers Kevin Stosiek (Missy) St. Mary’s GA, and Brian, Manteno IL.

Ralph has three children from his first marriage:  Jason Stosiek of Milwaukee WI,  Gina Stosiek-Clarke (Jason) of Peotone IL and Gina (Zilio) Handrigan (Jim) of Chicago; four grandchildren Patrick, Teagan, Sophia and Julia.  He loved and adored his precious Sophia Marie and Julia Lorraine- to them he was Dzia Dzia and they will miss him dearly.

Ralph met Debbie (Swiatek) and they wed in 1987.  Happily married for 31 years, his family grew as they had two daughters, Holly Stosiek of  Daytona Beach Fl and April Stosiek- Averill (Dylan) of Brunswick GA.

Ralph was a manager for an auto sales group. He loved his job and worked until his health no longer allowed him.  He was a smart business man respected by co workers and had a knack for his trade and a very admirable work ethic.

Ralph loved to golf, fish and cook and excelled at all three. He had a smile that would light up any room and a laugh that came straight from his heart and will be sure to live on in ours.

He is survived by his family mentioned above, mother in law Marge Swiatek, sister in law Deanna Larsen and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.  He is preceded in death by his father, mother and father in law, Bob Swiatek.

There was no wake for Ralph as these were his wishes. We ask that if you would like to make a donation please make it to the American Lung Association https://www.lung.org/get-involved/ways-to-give/

No one should fight alone.
