Darrell Norman, age 62 of Stevenson, AL, formerly of Arkansas, passed away Saturday January 30, 2016. He is survived by his children, Julie (Jeremy) Anderson, Christopher (Karen) Norman, and Shelly Wall; grandchildren, Jacey, Jasper, Jeremy Todd, Jory, Helena, Mook, and Emily; brothers, Dave (Darlene) Norman and Don (Laura) Norman; special friend, Paula Watkins; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and one uncle. He was preceded by his parents, Raymond and Fern Norman; brother, Dale Lee Norman. The family will have a memorial celebration on Tuesday February 2 from 2-4 at the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson.

Darrell was my closest friend at Lowell Elementary and he was a very considerate person. Even though we drifted apart in high school, we still kept in touch and I visited him many times at his home in Deer, Arkansas. He will be missed. He loved it there and only moved to Alabama due to illness.
